Description
"Orville takes the boxes from the truck. Augusta looks on with interest." Orville and Augusta Brittell unload boxes of supplies sent to them by American Churches of Christ for their work with the Namwianga Mission in Kalomo, Zambia. John Sherriff and W. N. Short, American missionaries from Churches of Christ, began the mission in 1922. Orville Brittell joined them in 1939 and married Augusta Scott, daughter of George and O. R. Scott who were also missionaries from Churches of Christ who worked at the mission station.
