Description
Photograph of line of pine trees and brush, Big Pines, [s.d.]. In the extreme foreground at right, a knotted piece of wood with thick, small branches can be seen lying in an open field. Various types of vegetation can be seen growing near the base of the log. This vegetation and brush is visible along the field extending from the left to the right. In the background, a line of trees is visible also extending from the left to the right. A few of the trees on the left have tall, thick trunks, but few branches are visible except at the top of the tree. Many of the pine trees that can be seen in the middle of the line and on the right possess far more branches and foliage giving them a conical shape. In the extreme background, a faint mountain range is barely visible.
