Image of an advertisement for plows by Hunter & Frost of Fredericksburg, Virginia; images of plows interspersed with advertising text.
Date approximated by cataloger based on "Farmer's Friend" plow patent in the Official Gazette of the United States Patent Office for 1873. "This cut shows our No. 5 one-horse plow, which has our new and peculiar sloping standard, entirely preventing it from choking and greatly diminishing the draft... Hunter & Frost, Plow, Agricultural and Foundry Works, Fredericksburg, Va."--text, center of image.
