Description
Written on bottom of print: "I will see you on Saturday night." Located in the Santa Cruz Mountains above Los Gatos, Wright's was the station at the mouth of a mile long tunnel that went under the mountain ridge. The tunnel was heavily damaged by the 1906 earthquake and required considerable repair to reopen. Wright's was also the location of a large picnic ground owned by the railroad which offered special excursions from San Francisco. This is likely a group of Sunday excursionists sitting among the construction material.
