Photograph caption dated February 16, 1963 reads, "Mrs. Chester Doyle presents a check representing proceeds of the Charity Players' Mad Hatter's Ball to Alfred T. Alden, president of the Crippled Children's Society. Alex Pizano, 9, left, and Steven Salazar, look on. The funds will be used as part of the Charity Player's pledge for a dormitory at Camp Joan Meyer in Zuma Beach."
