Photograph of a panoramic view of Los Angeles south from First and Spring Streets, 1928. The city is blanketed with tall buildings including the Security Trust and Savings Bank in the left foreground. The roads extend from the right foreground to the left distance. Mountains can be seen on the horizon. The photograph appears to be taken from the observation deck of the just completed City Hall (1928) note the presence of the old (aka Third) City Hall (1888 - 1928).
