Photograph article dated July 20, 1963 partially reads, "To the TAR's, the GOP is A-OK. In fact, they're just enthusiastic about the Republican Party. That's one of the requirements for joining the Teen-Age Republicans, a new North Valley organization of teen-agers boosting the GOP and learning some politics at the same time. They're different. While most youths their age are trying to keep a car running smoothly, the more than 40 TARs are concerned with keeping the Republican Party going well." From left, TARS adviser Mike Mastro, and Charles Hall, 17, and Larry Alden, 16, learns about the Republicans.
