Description
An 1860 invoice from the Daily Bee newspaper to the Masonic Union Lodge No. 58 F. A. M. detailing the cost of two ordered advertisements. Samples of the advertisements are included in the lower left corner of the invoice, and is noted that it was paid by the Union Lodge No. 58's secretary, H. B. Congdon. The Daily Bee was a daily newspaper, excluding weekends, that ran in Sacramento from 1857 to 1890. The Daily Bee newspaper was published by Toby, Church, and Co.
