View 1, on front, (1991-0170) shows the National Government Building on the southeast corner of Main and Winston streets, into which the Los Angeles Post Office moved, June, 1893; a multi-story Victorian Romanesque Revival building, semi-circular arches for windows and door openings, rounded buttresses, turrets; men, women, horse-drawn carriages at curbside -- View 2, on verso, (1991-0171) shows the Los Angeles County Court House, a multi-story Richardsonian Romanesque stone brick building, center clock tower with cupola above.
