A man and a small boy can be seen standing under the entrance to the Los Angeles Soap Company, at far right. Legible signs include the following: "Los Angeles Soap Co.", "Mermaid Queen soap/German Family soap when tried you will use no other", "ask for Mermaid Queen soap the best soap on the market", "Lily Borax soap", and "entrance Los Angeles Soap Co.", and "office 633 E. First St. entrance through alley".
