Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated May 16, 1949 partially reads, "Just a 'bit of old England' was what Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Middleton brought to California in their recent migration from Liverpool. The keepsakes to remind them of home are a 200-year-old tobacco box, a dressmaker's tape measure equally as old, an ebony walking cane with elephant's head, a silver set of fish-eating utensils and prized old issues of newspapers...The Middletons made the decision to transfer their European home to 5021 Fair Ave., North Hollywood."; See images #00133218 through #00133220 for all photos in this series.
