Photograph caption dated July 19, 1963 reads, "Terry King, right, 19-year-old beauty, was crowned as Miss Sherman Oaks Thursday night at the annual installation of honorary chamber of commerce officials. Presenting her with flowers and crown is Dr. Fred Adelson, president of the chamber, and former queen, Jacqueline Voges. Miss King was the only one of five candidates to actually reside in Sherman Oaks. The others are Susan Solomon, 16, Encino; Lynn Murphy, 19, Burbank; Anita Renee, 18, Granada Hills; Velene Campbell, 17, Van Nuys."
