Exterior view of the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles, located at 540 S. Commonwealth Ave. It appears that the finials, damaged by the 1994 earthquake, are being re-positioned. A large hydraulic crane can be seen in the background, and while most of the "arm" is not visible in this picture, it is apparent that a chain attaches it to the finial shown.
