Upper Half of Alphabet Window in Drake Wing of Denison Library. The Alphabet Window is a stained glass window by Scripps Professor Douglas McClellan. Its figures form letters of the alphabet in different paleographic styles. Scripts appearing in this portion of the window include script variations, ligatures, uncial script, runic, illuminated letters A, D, and L, sanskrit, modern Roman, Latin, Anglo Irish, early Latin, classical etruscan, etruscan developments, black letter Gothic, eastern Greek, and early italic.
