Description
Better known as the Venice Auditorium, the structure appears here in diffused moonlight. The Auditorium was a central piece of Abbot Kinney's Venice of America, which sought to recreate the feeling of Venice, Italy in Southern California. Complete with Venetian style buildings, canals, and gondolas, Kinney's Venice of America opened on July 4, 1905. On reverse: Venice, Cal. "On the Road of a thousand wonders"
