Photograph of a White Leghorn Hen, ca.1930. The hen is facing the left and only her upper body and head can be seen. She is covered in lightly-colored feathers with the dark comb on her head reaching her thin, curved beak. Her dark eye seems to look in the foreground. "This hen is bred for egg production".
