Description
Shown is photograph of the home of Thomas Morton Lindley located on 1314 H Street in circa 1890. Lindley was born in Indiana on August 19, 1819, and immigrated to California in the beginning of the Gold Rush of 1849 on March 4 of that year, making him an honored member of the Sacramento Society of California Pioneers. Lindley established himself in Sacramento as the proprietor of the firm Lindley & Co. He married Isabel V. Arrington in 1857, with whom he had eight children. He died in 1896.
