Description
British-made broadcast receiving valve (triode-hexode/frequency converter), spray-coated red. Numbers "1041 2K1" on base. (The spray coating was partially used the hide blackened interior resulting from the Mullard azide process used during manufacturing, but also acted as a barrier to keep signals from interfering with tube reception).
