Description
Photograph caption dated March 11, 1958 reads "Charles Hilger, right, commander of Reseda-Van Nuys Disabled American Veterans Post 54, presents American flag to members of Torpedo Junior Hi-Y Club of Mid Valley YMCA. Accepting gifts are Tom LaMers, left; Allen Ackerman and Thomas Cowen, YMCA leader." The YMCA was located at 14515 Hamlin Street, Van Nuys. A replacement facility, at 6901 Lennox Avenue, Van Nuys, was built in 1961.
