Description: The 225-room Hotel Sacramento and Lavenson's Shoes book end the Romanesque K Street entrance to Herman Davis and Sons Optometry in this March 30, 1938, photograph. The Ransom Construction Company of San Francisco built the concrete reinforced hotel while the architectural design was done by the firm of Session and Hemmings.
