Description
Two women in London dresses for September. The woman on the left wears a white headscarf with light green trim. Her dress is a very pale pink with white dots and trim on the cuffs and vertical decorative bands of the sleeves, the neck, and the hem. The dress has an empire waist and the bodice is very simple with a high, straight neck. The white trim on the dress is detailed with a floral pattern on the cuffs and a triangle pattern at the hem. She wears a pair of white, elbow length gloves and a pair of flat, white shoes. The woman on the right wears a white bonnet with a band of green rosettes around the crown. In her left hand, she holds a green parasol with white fringe. She is adorned with teardrop pearl earrings. Her white, full length dress has a straight neck. The empire waist is draped and gathered at the center and the two sides. She wears a green shawl around her shoulders with tassels on the points. Her left arm is wrapped in the shawl and she wears a pair of white gloves. The hem and the neck of her dress are detailed with white stitching or lace. She wears a pair of black shoes with a ruffle or rosette on top.
