Soisingra Mosahary var leder af Boroerne i NELC, Assam, Nordindien. (Foto 1982). Han var søn af pastor Maguram Mosahary (1903-76), som spillede en central rolle i forbindelse med oversættelse af Bibelen til boro/bodo-sproget. Også Soisingra Mosahary deltog i dette arbejde, 1966-68 samt de efterfølgende år. Den norske missionær i Assam, 1938-72, pastor Håkon Halvorsrud var ansvarlig for oversættelse af Det Gamle Testamente/GT (og revision af det Nye Testamente/NT, tidligere oversat af Aksel Kristiansen i 1938 og 1948). Soisingra Mosahary was leader of the Boros in NELC, Assam, North India. (Photo 1982). He was son of Rev. Maguram Mosahary (1903-76), who had a key role during translation of the Bible to Boroni. Also Soisingra Mosahary participated in the work, 1966-68 and following years. The Norwegian Missionary to Assam, 1938-72, Rev. Håkon Halvorsrud was responsible for translation of the Old Testament (and revision of the New Testament/NT, previously translated by Aksel Kristiansen in 1938 and 1948). Translation of the Old Testament was completed in 1980, and with revision of NT, the whole Bible could be published in modern Boroni language.
