Photograph of a birdseye view of Broadway looking north from Seventh Street in Los Angeles, 1907. Broadway runs from the foreground to the background at left and is a wide, unpaved road with streetcar tracks running down the middle. Large buildings line both sides of the street, and awnings project over the first-story windows of many of them. Several horse-drawn carts are visible in the street. In the background at left, the tops of many more buildings can be seen, while a low mountain is visible in the background at center.
