The south face of the flat-iron tree in the Metropolitan Company's tract on Bull Creek Flat. The tree is 6 ft. across at this point as compared to 3 ft. wide between the narrow and broad points of the flat-iron cross section. The man is Tom Gill, forester for the C. L. Pack Forestry Trust. E.F. June 1931
