Photograph of the ruins of the west end and south front of Mission La Purisima Concepcion, California, ca.1904. Three buttresses support the west wall which has lost most of its facade. Bare timbers show through on the roof. Two columns near the west end no longer support anything. A man stands near many small piles of roof tiles in front of the exterior corridor along the south front. A hill is visible in the background.
