This May 1939 photograph captures the World's Fair Rodeo Parade. Riders make their way east on K Street, between Tenth and Eleventh Streets, while spectators line the route. Businesses along the route include as follows: Auslender's Women's Clothing at 1000 K Street, E.A. Grebitus Jewelers at 1004 K Street, the Luggage Shop at 1008 K Street, Mason's Men's Shop at 1010 K Street, Herman Davis and Sons Optometry at 1014 K Street, Green's Fur Store at 1016 K Street, Lavenson's Shoes at 1018 K Street, Noack-Harger Company Jewelers at 1022 K Street and side entrance to the Hotel Sacramento at the corner of 10th and K Streets.
