Photograph caption dated March 30, 1934 reads "Screen actresses who were Wampas 'baby stars' in 1931-1932 are awaiting announcement of the winner of the fifth Wampas achievement trophy to be given to the actress who, in the opinion of the studio publicists, has made the most progress in films since her election. Photo shows Joan Blondell, at left, one of the nominees, inspecting the silver trophy held by Dolores Del Rio, a previous winner. The award will be announced May 8."
