In the foreground, flat terrain consisting of patches of dirt and vegetation can be seen extending into the extreme background. At center, a group of eight mules are visible near a large tree. Beside the tree, a man wearing a hat can be seen sitting on a bench. Further to the right, another team of mules is visible with another man standing nearby. In the extreme background at center, two additional trees can be seen. Otherwise, the landscape is uninterrupted.
