Her dark clothing appears to be blending with the boat and water. In the background, just skew of two spidery trees, a woman can be seen sitting on a bench near the shore. A mown swath of grass leads backwards from the bench until it meets a line of trees. What appears to be a wooden bridge is visible to the right in this area.
