Description
Image of intense fighting during the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1–3, 1863, during the American Civil War; 12,500 Confederate soldier mount an infantry assault against the center of the Union line on Cemetery Ridge, known as Pickett's Charge, only to be repulsed by Union rifle and artillery fire.
