Description
No old shelf mark. The printing information was in the bottom right hand corner below the neat line, but has been lost: the same map is at the Library of Congress, and that is where the transcription comes from (http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/map_item.pl. Accessed 6/16/2010). This map gives state by state statistics on the troops furnished to the Federal Government during the Civil War and the number of pensioners still alive in 1888. Further it shows the bounties paid, the proportion of white and colored men who served in comparison to their general population at the time. Statistical tables. Prime meridian: GM. Relief: no. Projection: Mercator. Printing Process: Lithography.
