Original photograph has several small stains. Photograph caption dated July 28, 1958 reads "Shown here opening up the 1,000th savings account at Valley Federal's San Fernando Office is Captain Robert E. Laub, plant manager, industrial products division, International Telephone and Telegraph Co. Seated with the Captain on the right is James W. Wilson, manager of the office. Standing is Thurlow Culley, Granada Hills pioneer and a member of Valley Federal's advisory board. Valley Federal opened the San Fernando Office in November, 1957. Advisory board for the new office now includes J. Leo Flynn, Bert Hanneman and Thurlow Culley. Mary E. Williams is the assistant manager."
