Description
Original photo is reversed.
Here is a closeup study of Chief Big White Horse Eagle smoking the pipe of peace which he says he has shared with all Presidents since Abraham Lincoln. However, he also treasures 87 scalps of Indians and white men whom he declares he dispatched to the "happy hunting ground" when he was in his prime. He cites as one reason for his longevity the fact that he sleeps but 4 hours a night. The chief will be guest of honor at the Ramona Supper Club and wil attend opening of a trading post at Ramona Village. Photo dated: Decembr 4, 1930.
