Description
This is a partial recording of a memorial following the death of Dr. Brad Truax of AIDS complications. Truax was a San Diego physician and political activist who worked to draw attention to the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s. He was president of the San Diego Democratic Club from 1981-1984, a founder of the United San Diego Elections Committee in 1981, and one of the first members of the San Diego County Human Relations Commission in 1985.
