The Costa Brothers building in Mill Valley. Before 1908 the Costa Bros. operated a dairy on Miller Avenue. They opened Costa Dairy Wood, Coal and Ice on the southeast corner of East Blithedale and Sunnyside Avenues in 1908. After the building was torn down in the 1930s, over the years the site would be home to a Safeway, Golden Valley Market, Bank of Marin, and then Westamerica Bank.
