Photograph caption dated June 17, 1964 reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Vern Bullough and their oldest son, David, 10, watch as the three younger Bullough children play with Joey, the family Pekinese. James, 8, smiles as Steven, 6, and Susie, 3, pat the dog. Two youngest children were adopted by the Reseda family."
