Description
Photograph of a man falling over the side of a sailboat, ca.1940. At center sits the sailboat, tossed by choppy water. A lone sailor clad in light colors hangs from the right side of the stern with his left leg close to the water. The mast is marked "486" and is decorated with a star and three arrows. In the distance are three other sailboats riding the waves. The shoreline is vaguely visible in the mist -cloaked distance.
