A high "tree" burl on a tree 13' in diameter standing close to the old county road on Pacific Lumber Company property on flat north of High Rock about 2 miles north of Dyerville. Note park of scaffolding sunk in tree many years ago by a burl hunter. Burl was evidently not good enough to remove. See also #5851-2. Aug. 2, 1935. E.F
