Photograph caption dated December 3, 1963 reads, "Members of the Tarzana Rotary Club, from left, Paul Thomas, director, Gordon Hayes, vice president, and Colonel Lynch, secretary, are shown with toys collected in barrels from locations in the Tarzana business section. The club's big Christmas project, the toys will be collected, sorted and reconditioned for youngsters in the Valley at Christmas time. Neglected, outgrown or discarded but usable toys and games may be deposited in any of the big red toy drums located in the business area."
