Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Photograph caption reads: "What about those sandbags and Ronnie's satin jackets, anyway? Well, if any of you are around in 50 years, you'll be able to see what Malibu residents thought were more timely than these items to include in their time capsule". "Three tiers of sandbags help save this Malibu Colony home. Late this morning tide hade [sic] receded and only small waves licked at the homefront". Residents of these beach houses prepared for a high tide by putting plywood over windows and taping large X's on glass doors. Photograph dated: Jan. 20, 1980.
