Description: The Pico House, sometimes called "Old Pico House", built by Pio Pico in 1869-70. The Pico sign on the roof is not readable, but at the far right in the picture is the Merced Theatre, with another lower building beyond it. A car's front fender intrudes into the lower left of the picture which was taken from across the street.
