Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated October 5, 1961 reads "Members of pioneer families who are on a picnic planning committee are William McCann, 3876 Eureka Dr., North Hollywood; Fred Weddington, 4500 Ledge Ave., North Hollywood, and Mrs. Frances Muir Pomeroy, 11332 Otsego St., North Hollywood. The picnic will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 15 at the recreation hall in North Hollywood Park. 'Old timers' will bring relics from days gone by, including newspapers, a churn, oil lamps and photographs. Families will bring their own lunches, and coffee and orange juice will be furnished by the North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce."
