Description
Photograph of an exterior view or the Picworth Market located at Pico Boulevard and Hayworth Avenue, taken from across the street, ca.1940. This large light-colored art deco building can be seen at center with a large sign in front that reads, "Picworth Market" just above a striped awning that runs the length of the building. Along the sidewalk from left to right a scale, a woman walking a bicycle, a parked car in front of a street light, a second parked car, and at least three men can be seen.
