Description
Photograph of the Bodie ghost town in Mono County, ca.1930. Dozens of worn, apparently abandoned wooden buildings can be seen in the distance. The tall spire of a church can be seen at left, while the right side of the image is taken up by smaller houses. In the background, a row of low, rolling hills runs across the image. In the foreground, a broken wagon axle with one wheel attached rests among small bushes and tall grass.
