Description
Photograph of guests sitting on the veranda of the Florence Hotel in San Diego, ca.1888. The people are arranged in a u-shape around the edge of the covered veranda, and all are sitting in chairs except for three people leaning against the walls. Mr. Brower, proprietor and state senator, is in the rocking chair near the doorway. The wall on the right side of the veranda is made mostly of glass panes, while the main part of the hotel is on the left.
