Title supplied by cataloger.; Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Edward G. Robinson, Jr. was born on March 19, 1933 in Los Angeles. He was the son of legendary actor Edward G. Robinson and actress Gladys Lloyd. He was an actor, appearing in a few films and on television series. Robinson, Jr. lead a troubled life and was known for being a playboy. He started drinking as a teenager and got into trouble with the law numerous times after becoming an adult. He eloped at the age of 19, had a daughter, and was divorced a few years later. He was arrested multiple times for charges including check fraud, drunken driving, and assault and robbery. He married twice more and died of a heart attack on February 26, 1974. Photograph caption dated Mar 1, 1952 reads "With his bride beside him, Edward G. Robinson, Jr., son of the actor, signs for his personal property upon release at 2:30 a.m. today from Beverly Hills jail. Left to right are Lt. Jim Alcorn of Beverly Hills Police Department; Mrs. Robinson, and her youthful husband." The group is standing at a desk. A typewriter is on the top of the desk. He was arrested for writing a bad check.
