Photograph caption dated August 24, 1959 reads "For a cowboy to part with one of his guns is usually unheard of, but Valley's fast-draw expert Ben James, kneeling, doesn't mind giving one to rheumatic fever victim Johnny Hallstein, 12. Looking on are Johnny's mother, Mrs. George C. Hallstein, and KHJ-TV star Tom Moore, on whose show presentation was made."
