Hart died in 1946, leaving his Horseshoe Ranch, his home, La Loma de Los Vientos (Hill of the Winds) and a large sum of money to the people of Los Angeles County, with the stipulation that there would be no charge of admission to the grounds. The Ranch is open daily, except Monday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m."
