Photograph of a birdseye view of Broadway looking north from Eighth Street, Los Angeles, ca.1913. Automobiles are parked along the curb. A few cars and fewer horse-drawn wagons and carriages share the street with 2 streetcars. American flags fly from several buildings including the roof of the 12-story block building (Los Angeles Investment Building (later Chapman Building) and Morosco Theatre) at center. Pedestrians walk along the sidewalks. A clock (8:58) stands on the sidewalk at left.
