Photograph caption dated May 13, 1981 reads, "RTD bus crossed center divider of La Brea Avenue, hit a Cadillac (center), and four other cars, then hit an embankment." 26 people were injured in his accident with a Line #212 bus at La Brea Avenue and Stocker Street in Baldwin Hills; miraculously, no one was killed.
